Pre-use Excavator Daily Inspection Checklist Form

Heavy equipment used in a project is made to make it easier for workers according to their respective uses, such as heavy equipment for digging, heavy equipment for hauling, heavy equipment for loading, heavy equipment for spreaders, and heavy equipment for compactor.

As a heavy equipment operator, it must be used efficiently so that the productivity level of the tool is achieved in accordance with the schedule and additional costs incurred. In order for heavy equipment to be used efficiently, the user needs to know the ability of the type and function of the heavy equipment and the limitations of the tool as well as the operational costs of the tool.

This heavy equipment is the most widely used and most commonly known by the public. Excavators are often called Pull shovel or Backhoe. The use of excavators must be adapted to the field, generally excavators use diesel engine power and a full hydraulic system which is divided into various types according to the digger that is on the front.

The most efficient operation of the excavator is to use the heel and toe method from the top to the bottom. The top of the excavator can rotate (revolving unit) 360 degrees. Excavators are able to distribute the load evenly to all parts of the vessel.

Excavator is a type of heavy equipment that functions to dig and dredge the ground. It consists of booms, sticks, buckets and crabs which are the main component parts of the excavator. There are more than one type of excavator currently operating and have different dimensions. The largest type of excavator is the Hydraulic Shovel Excavator with a maximum total bucket load of 61 tons in one dredging.
